Laurye Joncret

Doctorante boursière à l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, Laurye Joncret travaille sur la construction de l’islamophobie comme problème public. Elle s’intéresse à la manière dont les médias d’information, en interaction avec le secteur associatif, ont progressivement construit le problème de l’islamophobie dans trois sociétés possédant des modèles de gestion de la multiculturalité différents : la France, le Royaume-Uni et la Belgique francophone. Ses recherchent se concentrent sur l’analyse du discours médiatique et la communication des acteurs militant contre l’islamophobie.

Laurye Joncret is a doctoral student at the Université libre de Bruxelles, working on the construction of Islamophobia as a public problem. She is interested in how the news media, in interaction with the associative world, have progressively constructed the problem of Islamophobia in three societies with different models of managing multiculturalism : France, the United Kingdom, and French-speaking Belgium. Her research focuses on the analysis of the media discourse and the communication of actors advocating against Islamophobia.
